Is there a deadline to book my place on one of the programmes?

There is no deadline for registration however, generally we fill up approximately 6 weeks prior to the date of the programme.

What is the dress code for the programme?

We ask that students wear business smart/casual clothing so for example trousers or chinos, a shirt or smart jumper with proper shoes. Essentially no jeans or trainers.

What is the difference between the Young Investment Banker Programme and the Young Investment Banker Weekend?

The one-day Young Investment Banker Programme is for school students between year 11 and year 13, and provides students with a core understanding and experience of investment banking. The Young Investment Banker Weekend is a two-day programme aimed at university students; it goes into much more detail about key concepts and there is a greater emphasis on how to succeed in the graduate recruitment process as that is more pressing for university students.

Will there be somewhere to keep my luggage at the event?

There is plenty of room to keep luggage in the lecture theatre and many students do so. We cannot, however, take any responsibility for students’ personal belongings.

Are there any discounts available?

Can I apply for the course using a bursary?

Yes, you can. Full details about our bursary scheme can be found, here.

 

Will lunch be provided?

Lunch is not provided by InvestIN, as it is difficult to cater for the variety of dietary requirements amongst our students, However, there are many cafés and lunch spots near our venues; or you can of course bring a packed lunch.

Water will be provided for you throughout the day.

Can I leave the course early if I need to?

Yes you are free to leave the course at any stage if you have other commitments to attend to.

What is the procedure if I arrive late?

If you are going to arrive after the stipulated arrival time, please email info@investineducation.co.uk in advance so that we can arrange for someone to be on-hand to register you.

What is the policy for refunds or transfer?

Refund Policy: We do not offer cash refunds for programme bookings. However, we do provide 100% credit against your purchase in case you can no longer attend the programme you have booked for, if you cancel at least 24 hours before the programme takes place. That credit can be used against any future programme run by InvestIN, within the following 12 months. Do I need to have prior knowledge?

No prior knowledge is required to attend the courses, as we introduce each topic from a basic level of understanding.

Do I have to apply and be accepted onto the programmes in order to attend?

There are no requirements in order to attend our programmes, you can register online and book your place via our website at www.investineducation.co.uk

Does my school need to apply on my behalf?

No, they do not need to book on your behalf. Schools can make group bookings for multiple students or individuals, as we will issue the school with an invoice for payment.

Do you provide accommodation?

We do not generally provide accommodation. For some of our summer programmes, accommodation is available. If available, details will be in the ‘venue and accommodation’ tab of the programme page.
